I love this herb for cleansing the liver and kidneys and healing my ligaments. I use 1 teaspoon of the root in a thermos with 0.5 litres of boiling water left overnight. In the morning, I filter and refrigerate it for a week to use for compresses. I wrap a cotton cloth moistened in the infusion around my wrist, secured with a tea towel and an elastic bandage for about three months. It has healed my tendons and relieved my issues associated with kidney stones.
